How to Test Your Mouse Tester
- Click your Left, Right, and Middle mouse buttons inside the designated test box.
- Use the scroll wheel up and down to check wheel detent step counts.
- Press your browser Forward and Back thumb buttons on the side of your mouse.
- Move the cursor continuously across the canvas to verify pointer tracking.
Browser API Precision & Limitations
Additional proprietary macro buttons on gaming mice may not be dispatched by standard web browsers.
Standard note: A passing test confirms your operating system and browser receive valid hardware event signals. It does not replace physical laboratory calibration.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
01.If the scroll wheel jumps in the opposite direction, the mechanical wheel encoder may have accumulated lint or require cleaning.
02.If thumb buttons don't trigger, verify in your mouse software that side buttons are mapped to Standard Mouse 4 / 5 rather than custom key macros.
03.If pointer tracking skips, check mouse sensor lens for hair or try a clean cloth mousepad.
